Daylily care have been specially developed for pregnant women and young mothers. This risk for the baby is even greater during the 1st trimester. This is why certain brands which use ingredients in their cosmetics that we have excluded will tend to recommend using their products from the 4th month of pregnancy only. Daylily care are totally suitable for use from the first month of pregnancy. Additionally, they have undergone extensive testing to ensure they are safe for use by pregnant women. Daylily products are therefore in no way dangerous for you or your baby, and can be used safely throughout pregnancy.

What ingredients are not recommended for pregnant women that Daylily has excluded from its products?

We have excluded ALL ingredients not recommended for pregnant women such as endocrine disruptors, essential oils, mineral oils, alcohols, and many others.

Do Crème Radieuse SPF50 and other Daylily products contain nanoparticles?

No, nanoparticles are one of the ingredients excluded from our formulas. They are not recommended for pregnant women.

Can I use Daylily care from the start of my pregnancy?

Yes, Daylily care are specific treatments for pregnant women. They have therefore been designed to be used from the start of pregnancy, and throughout the duration of pregnancy, since we have excluded ingredients that could be considered harmful to the baby or the mother.

Can the products cause allergies?

Each Daylily care has undergone an allergy test on a panel of 50 people to test the reaction on sensitive skin, and no problems have been observed. They are therefore considered hypoallergenic. However, some of our products contain oils from nuts. Therefore, we urge people with known allergies to these elements to remain vigilant.

What does hypoallergenic mean?

The term “hypoallergenic” associated with a product means that this product has been designed and tested to minimize the risk of allergies during its use.

How long can I keep each product?

As long as the product is unopened, its shelf life is 30 months. Once opened, you must refer to the indication on the packaging of each product. It is a pictogram consisting of an open jar with a number indicated inside this jar, followed by a capital “M”.

It indicates, in months, the shelf life of the product once opened. For example, if it says “12M” on the packaging, this means that the product can be used within 12 months of opening.
