Who is this accessory for?

To all young parents who have just welcomed a newborn! The skin-to-skin headband promotes contact between parent and baby. Whether mother or co-parent, the headband is a valuable accessory to create moments of intimacy and connection with your newborn, strengthening bonds from the first days of the child's life.

What is this accessory for?

Mama Louve allows baby to be snuggled up warm against you while providing comforting support that will remind them of their moments of life in utero . This skin-to-skin headband soothes baby, promotes the creation of the parent-child bond, strengthens baby's immune defenses, stabilizes his temperature and stimulates breastfeeding if you have made this choice. Skin to skin is also recommended by the WHO!

Sit in a comfortable space, whether sitting or lying down:

Step 1: Slide the headband over your head and adjust it at your hips.

Step 2: Gently place your baby against you, stomach to stomach, in a fetal position with his back rounded and his knees above the level of his buttocks.

Step 3: Pull the headband up to baby's earlobes, making sure it is positioned above their chest and their airways are clear.

Step 4: Take advantage of this intimate moment to relax and bond!

This practice can be repeated as often as desired from birth until the baby's first 3 months.

However, this skin-to-skin headband is not a carrying system and should not be used as a baby carrier.
