10 tips to follow to protect your facial skin when you are pregnant

During pregnancy, facial skin is particularly impacted by the hormonal upheavals (increased production of estrogen and progesterone) that take place in your body. You may observe changes in your skin type (oilier or drier), the appearance of spots (the famous pregnancy mask) or simply more sensitive skin, less plump and less radiant than usual. This is why it is particularly important to take care of it on a daily basis to avoid all these little inconveniences, and to maintain a radiant complexion until childbirth! And it will be child's play by following our 10 tips to protect the skin on your face during pregnancy :-)

Eat healthy

Diet , as always, is a key factor in the health of your skin! Focus on foods rich in antioxidants , and in particular in carotenoids (found in large quantities in red, orange and yellow fruits and vegetables) and those which provide Omega 3 and vitamin E (oils hazelnut, rapeseed, avocado, etc.). They have the ability to better prepare your skin for the sun's rays and preserve its hydration , so why deprive yourself of them?

Drink enough
