When the skin is subjected to too much tension, and it is not elastic enough to support it, the dermis tears. In other words, the skin “cracks” and unsightly streaks appear: these are the famous stretch marks.
During your pregnancy, they can invade your stomach of course, but also your chest, which also gains volume, your buttocks, the upper thighs or the lower back. Bad news: they often arrive in flocks, so you can expect to see several appear in the same area! Initially, the stretch marks will be very apparent and will take on a purple, pinkish, or even red tint. This is what we call red stretch marks: recent stretch marks, which reflect inflammation of the dermis.

Rule #2 : Act… immediately!
The appearance of red stretch marks should not cause you to give up. On the contrary, we must act – or continue to act – and quickly!
