When pregnant, here are 10 things to do to avoid suffering "too much" from the heat!
The weather is beautiful and hot… but the problem is, you're pregnant and the heat has become your worst enemy! The weather can be unpredictable, especially during a heatwave, when it's important to be vigilant because it makes us particularly vulnerable. Whether you're pregnant, a new mom with a baby, or simply a woman concerned about staying healthy, we've listed 10 little things that can help you cope better :)
Daylily Paris is a brand of clean, sensory and effective skincare products, made in France and 100% compatible with pregnancy and breastfeeding. We are also committed to sharing quality information for informed and uninhibited motherhood. 🧡
Tip 1
Dress in light, loose-fitting clothing, preferably cotton or linen.

Tip 2
Drink lots and lots of water! To vary the pleasures, you can “customize” your water on the principle of the famous “detox waters”. Nothing could be simpler: add ingredients according to your tastes to a large carafe of water and that's it. My favorite: strawberries, mint and lemon. You can also combine lots of other ingredients. Here are some ideas: cucumber, orange, lime or yellow, peach, watermelon, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, basil, mint, thyme, ginger, etc. Give free rein to your desires, everything is allowed ;)

Tip 3
When possible, elevate your legs. This will facilitate venous return in order to relieve the phenomenon of heavy legs.

Tip 4
Take small showers regularly, using a jet of cold water on your legs, especially before going to bed. If you can, enjoy the swimming pool or the sea.

Tip 5
Eat light, especially at dinner, to minimize the heat emitted by your body during digestion.

Tip 6
Adopt a small mister to refresh yourself at the appropriate time.

Tip 7
Bet on a nice fan... just after a spritz of mister, it does a lot of good!

Tip 8
If possible, do not go out between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. when the sun is strongest, unless you plan to visit in an air-conditioned location. Otherwise, opt for a good afternoon nap like the Mediterraneans do ;-)

Tip 9
Keep your interior cool by closing the shutters. If possible, create drafts in the evening or morning. You can also hang a wet sheet over your windows. Get a small fan if necessary. You can even place a bowl of ice cubes in front of it, this will provide you with some fresh air.
Tip 10
Use treatments specially designed to meet your needs. We advise you to buy them in sets or in mother-to-be boxes to pamper yourself in a simple and effective way. For example, our La Pause Douceur mask helps moisturize and relieve feelings of tightness.
Its little extra? It has a refreshing effect :)
Good luck !
